Key Biodiversity Highlights in Pilibhit

Pilibhit – A Less-Crowded Jungle, A Deeper Wild Experience.

Tigers: One of India’s best places for tiger sightings, with well-known individuals like Maya, Choti Tara, and others frequently spotted.
– Leopards: Often seen in less-crowded areas and buffer zones.
– Sloth Bears: Commonly sighted, especially during fruiting seasons.
– Wild Dogs (Dholes): Often seen hunting in packs, displaying intricate social behavior.
– Indian Gaur: The largest bovine species, often seen grazing in open meadows.
– Herbivores: Spotted deer, sambar deer, barking deer, and nilgai roam the reserve.

A sanctuary known for flamingos and rhinos, with the lake turning pink when thousands of flamingos gather along its shores.
Besides flamingos, the park is home to white rhinos, lions, Rothschild’s giraffes, and a variety of waterfowl.
Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley lakes, known for its alkaline waters that support a unique ecosystem.

Crocodiles: Found in Tadoba Lake and other water bodies.
– Snakes: Indian cobra, Russell’s viper, and non-venomous rat snakes.
– Amphibians: Frogs like the Indian bullfrog thrive during monsoons.

Tropical Dry Deciduous Forests: Dominated by teak, bamboo, and crocodile bark trees (Ain).

These cameras perform well in low light and provide excellent image quality and dynamic range.
