Besides flamingos, the park is home to white rhinos, lions, Rothschild’s giraffes, and a variety of waterfowl.
Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley lakes, known for its alkaline waters that support a unique ecosystem.

Crocodiles: Found in Tadoba Lake and other water bodies.
– Snakes: Indian cobra, Russell’s viper, and non-venomous rat snakes.
– Amphibians: Frogs like the Indian bullfrog thrive during monsoons.

Tropical Dry Deciduous Forests: Dominated by teak, bamboo, and crocodile bark trees (Ain).
– Lakes and Grasslands: Provide habitats for aquatic life and herbivores.

Tadoba Lake: A lifeline for wildlife, especially during summer.
– Andhari River: Provides water throughout the year.
– Buffer Zones: Excellent for birdwatching and less crowded wildlife encounters.

Tiger Cubs: TATR is famous for tiger families, with cubs often seen playing.
